How does a water bug sensor work?
The WaterBug Console mounts on a wall to control up to 6 sensor probes that can be up to 100 feet away! Each sensor probe has 2 contacts. A film of water forming a bridge between these contacts will activate the WaterBug alarm. Will not be fooled by condensation or high humidity.
How do you install a WaterBug?
Locate the area where the WaterBug® console is to be mounted. Mark the position of the screw hole on the mounting surface. Drive the mounting screw into the wall allowing 3/16” between the screw head and the wall. Engage the key slot on the back of the console and the screw head and press down.
