Newport Bus (the operating name of Newport Transport Limited) is the main provider of bus services in the city of Newport, Wales. A limited company whose shares are wholly owned by Newport City Council, it is one of the few remaining municipal bus companies in the United Kingdom.
What time do Newport buses stop running?
Newport Bus, in partnership with TfW and the council, is now operating the Fflecsi bus service across the city to complement and enhance scheduled services. Buses run from 6am until 11pm Monday to Saturday and from 9am until 7pm on Sunday.
Do buses run on Sundays in Newport?
Going forward, fflecsi will replace the timetables services on Sundays on all local bus routes. Routes 29, 30 and T7 (regional services) are not changing. To facilitate the transition to fflecsi, the current scheduled services will operate all day on Sunday 8 and will be free for local journeys.

Are dogs allowed on Newport buses?
Dogs must not travel on seats. Well-behaved dogs will be allowed to travel at the sole discretion of the bus driver. Dogs or other small animals must not interfere with the safety and wellbeing of any other passengers. The driver can require the removal of any animal from the vehicle if it causes inconvenience.
Is it cheaper to use an Oyster card or contactless?
There is a very small financial advantage to using a contactless card if you’re in London for more than a week and travel extensively every single day (weekly capping) but otherwise it’s no cheaper than using an Oyster.
Can I take my bike on the bus Isle of Wight?
It is now easier for cyclists to take their bicycles to areas across the Island using public transport instead of their cars. The Isle of Wight Council is working with Southern Vectis to provide bike storage facilities on four buses.
Can I take dog on train Wales?
Dogs are permitted on Transport for Wales trains free of charge, but they must not inconvenience other passengers or staff members .
