WorkSkills is a suite of BTEC qualifications designed to equip learners with the essential skills for job success and career development. The main purpose is to develop learners’ employability skills.
Is Pearson qualification Recognised?

What is Edexcel BTEC diploma?
The BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) Level 3 diploma is a Further Education qualification and vocational qualification taken in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The qualification is organised and awarded by Pearson within the BTEC brand and it is equivalent to A-Levels.
Is Edexcel and BTEC the same?
Edexcel is a product brand from Pearson. BTEC, EDI and LCCI are also product brands from Pearson.

Over 500 individual universities have formally confirmed they accept Pearson Edexcel IALs on an equivalent basis to GCE A level for undergraduate admission.
Is Edexcel A Level accepted in Germany?

What qualification is a BTEC Level 3?
They can be studied at various levels, each of which equates to a different qualification: Btec Level 1 and 2 = equivalent to GCSEs. Btec Level 3 = equivalent to A-levels. Btec Level 4-5 = equivalent to 1st and 2nd year of an undergraduate degree.

When do core WorkSkills entry level 3 qualifications expire?
IMPORTANT: Core WorkSkills Entry Level 3, Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications (2017) are due to expire soon, on 31 August, 2021, after which no more registrations will be accepted. Alternative replacement qualifications can be found below under Core WorkSkills (2020/2021).
