Fimo Professional is considered one of the stiffer polymer clays, so it will hold detail well. It can be hard and crumbly when you first take it out of the packaging, but don’t give up. After a little conditioning, you’ll love working with it. After baking, Fimo is strong and durable.
Is FIMO professional hard?
Fimo Professional is definitely much easier to work than Fimo Classic. I have found that batches of Fimo Classic can really vary in hardness (from hard to virtually unworkable), but the True Colours clay I tried was of a uniform consistency and much better all round.

Can you bake Fimo clay in a normal oven? Yes. It is perfectly safe to bake your clay in the oven in which you prepare your food, of course we recommend periodically cleaning your oven just as you would when baking just food.
