What Is The Starting Salary Of A Veterinarian

A vet in the United States may get an initial salary of approximately $51,000 a year while his/her counterpart in the United Kingdom may earn about £29,000 per annum. However, your first salary may depend on several factors; for instance, in the US an equine vet earns more than vets specializing in other animals. Additionally, vets working for private companies generally earn more than theirs colleagues on the federal/state payrolls. Interestingly enough, in the United States, where you practice your vocation also determines how much you are paid. As such, Cape Coral and Palm Coast (both in Florida) and Visalia, California offer the best pay to their vets.
