What Is The Average Salary In USA

Considering all recognized occupations in the United States, then the average salary of the American worker is $22.33 per hour or $46,440 per year. However, specialized professionals are making the most money, for example an IT research scientist is making more than double the national average salary. Moreover, registered nurses and management staff are also making considerably more money than other common professions in the United States. Sadly, people who work in department or clothes stores, those who wait tables at restaurants and attendants at gas stations are among the poorest paid professions.
