Vincent Jackson Net Worth Is $50 Million
Vincent Jackson is an American football player currently playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football league as a wide receiver. The Colorado-born star has an estimated net worth of $50 million, and enjoys a salary of $25 million per year. Even though Jackson was an excellent student academically, his love for sports compelled him to turn down an offer to join the University of Northern Colorado on a football and basketball scholarship.
In 2005, he was signed up by the San Diego Chargers in the 2nd round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He remained with the team until 2011, and in October 2012 he signed a five-year $55.55 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson, sometimes referred to by his initials V.J, has proven himself to be a strong player and has remained a very valuable asset to the two football teams he has played for. He has been chosen to the Pro Bowl 3 times (2009, 2011 and 2012), and has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in a duration of 4 seasons. He has also been ranked 52nd in the Top 100 Players of 2013.
Jackson was born on January 14, 1983, and both his parents were in the army. He founded the ‘Jackson in Action 83 Foundation’ which promotes the relationship between deployed military men and women, and their families back home. The foundation also sponsors military families at every game played at Raymond James Stadium through the Jackson in Action Front Row Fans Section. The NFL star is still single, and a very eligible bachelor. On March 2010, he was arrested for playing loud music, driving with a suspended license and expired tags. The arrest was made just a couple of hours before the San Diego Chargers went against the New York Jets.
