Vince Carter (also known by his nicknames “Air Canada”, “Half-Amazing”, “Half-Man” and “Vinsanity”), is a professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. He was chosen as the 5th overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 1998 NBA Draft. The Warriors immediately traded him to Toronto Raptors, and a year later he won the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
