Tracy McGrady is a retired professional basketball player. During his career, he played for Toronto Raptors from 1997 to 2000, Orlando Magic from 2000 to 2004, Houston Rockets from 2004 to 2010, New York Knicks from 2010, Detroit Pistons from 2010 to 2011, Atlanta Hawks from 2011 to 2012, Qingdao Eagles from 2012 to 2013 and lastly San Antonio Spurs in 2013. He entered NBA straight from high school after he was picked in the 1997 NBA Draft. He was Toronto Raptors’ 9th overall pick in the 1st round. During his career as a professional basketball player, McGrady became a 7-time NBA All-star, 7-time All-NBA selection and a 2-time NBA Scoring Champion. In 2003, SLAM Magazine ranked him 75th in its issue of Top 75 Players of All Time.

In 2002, the ex-athlete signed a long-term partnership with Adidas, whereby he agreed to an endorsement deal that would last through his entire professional career and beyond. McGrady is married to Clerenda McGrady, with whom he has four children: Layla Clarice, Laymen Lamar, Layden and Laycee Aloe. McGrady and Clerenda’s wedding took place in Mexico on 12th September, 2006. After retiring, the former NBA star stated that he planned to focus his efforts on running 2 companies: BLUE04, which is a bottled water company based in Florida, and Dasdak, which is a technology company in Washington, D.C.
