Sylvia Stroher, with an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion, is one of the wealthiest German businesswomen in the world. She is the grand-daughter of Georg Stroher who founded Wella AG, the hair care group, in 1981. 

In 2004 the Stroher family sold 80% of the stake in Wella AG to Procter & Gamble for $4 billion. For the record, Wella AG is the 2nd biggest professional hair care group in the world. She became richer by $1 billion as a result of this deal. 

Sylvia is married to Ulrich and they have one child. They love collecting contemporary German art pieces and they have around 1,500 pieces including works by famous artisans like Anselm Kiefer and Georg Baselitz.
