Sunny Deol is an Indian film actor and producer who enjoy a net worth of $50 million. He is the elder son of Bollywood actor Dharmendra and the older brother of Bobby Deol who is also a film actor. Sunny learned the art of acting from many prominent schools in England was also part of the Old Rep Theater (Birmingham). He made his debut with Betaab for which he bagged the Filmfare Best Actor Award. In the 80s and 90s Sunny Deol ruled the silver screen with box office hits like Tridev, Kroadh, Vishwatma, Damini, Ghatak & Ziddi. He also acted in the all time blockbuster hit – Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The early 2000s saw Sunny deliver quite a number of flops before he tasted success again with Apne & Yamla Pagla Deewana.
Sunny made his directorial debut with Dillagi which was also produced by him. He starred opposite his brother, Bobby, but the film did not meet much commercial success but his direction was critically acclaimed. He has won many awards and achievements throughout his career but he won his 1st National Award with Ghayal which was a huge hit with the masses. His first blockbuster hit was Gadar: Ek Prem Katha which earned Rs 973 million in India. In 2003 Sunny Deol appeared in the most expensive film of that time, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. The film had an estimated budget of $10 million which was a record at that time.
Sunny Deol always maintained a low profile personal life and he never enjoyed the media attention. He is married to Pooja Deol and the couple have 2 sons. In fact Karan Deol, his eldest son, will make his film debut in 2015 which is to be produced by Dharmendra, his grand-father.
