Stephen Cloobeck graduated from Brandeis University in 1983 with a degree in Psychobiology. After working as an executive for several years he made the choice to purchase Sunterra Corporation rather than run for the position of governor of Arizona. 

He assumed the position of chairman and changed its name to “Diamond Resort Holdings” along with other adjustments that led the business to success. Cloobeck has appeared on the reality television series, “Undercover Boss” on two separate occasions in 2012. In 2001 he made a donation of over $100,000 to the Democratic Party. He is also one of the founders of the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Awareness. His net worth is estimated at $105 Million.
