Born in 1939, Sir Arthur Douglas Myers is known for being one of the richest men in New Zealand. In total, he possesses an entire net worth of $717 million. He earned this wealth through his work as the chief executive officer of Campbell & Ehrenfried. Later, this company would change its name to Lion Nathan. Myers began working as the CEO in 1965 and oversaw the company until 1998. During this time, he transformed from being CEO to chairman of the board. By 1998, he stepped back from his role as the head of the company and sold his 45 percent share in the business to Kirin Brewery. Kirin purchased his share for $312 million and Sir Arthur Douglas Myers entered semi-retirement.
