Sanjay Dutt is an Indian film actor and producer who has an estimated net worth of $10 million. Although he is a big name in the Hindi film industry, his image has been tarnished by the felonies committed by him during the Mumbai blasts of 1993. Sanjay Dutt is the son of yesteryear actors Sunil Dutt & Nargis Dutt. He made his acting debut in 1981 but 3 days before the release of the film, his mother died. The film was titled ‘Rocky’ and it was directed by his father. The death of his mother motivated him to do well in the film industry.
Sanjay Dutt continued to act in commercially successful film throughout the 1990s including cult classic films. However, during his film career he had several altercations with the keepers of the law which made him a controversial figure. However, his popularity was never on the wane. Sanjay Dutt’s first brushed the law on the wrong side in 1982 after he was found to possess illegal substances. He spent 5 months in jail and after his release he was sent to Texas rehab clinic for 2 years. On returning to India he resumed his career. In 1987 Sanjay Dutt married actress Richa Sharma but she died of brain tumour in 1996. The couple has a daughter who lives in the US with her grand-parents. Two years later he married Rhea Pillai but they divorced in 2005. In 2008 he married Manyata aka Dilnawaz Sheikh in Goa amidst a private ceremony. In 2010 Sanjay became a father to twins.
