Saif Ali Khan Net Worth Revealed

Saif Ali Khan, the son of former Indian cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan and former Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore, has an estimated net worth of $40 million. Although many thought that he would be a cricketer too, Saif decided to follow the footsteps of his mother and embarked on an acting career. He made his acting debut with Parampara in 1992 but the film sank without a trace. He first tasted success in 1994 with back-to-back hits, Yeh Dillagi & Main Khiladi Tu Anari. However, throughout 1990s he delivered flops after flops and his career graph took a huge nose dive.

In 2001 he came back with a bang essaying the role of Sameer in Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai. In 2003 he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for Kal Ho Naa Ho and he bagged the National Award for Hum Tum in 2004 albeit under controversial circumstances. He achieved more success with films like Salaam Namaste in 2005 and Race in 2008. In 2009 he branched into production and the first film, Love Aaj Kal, was an instant box office success. His achievements were acknowledged by the Government of India and he was awarded the Padma Shri in 2010.

Just like his film career, Saif’s personal life too is dotted with many ups and downs. He married actress Amrita Singh in 1991 and they had two children. However, after 13 years of marriage the couple divorced in 2004. After this he had a brief 3 year relationship with the Swiss model, Rosa Catalano. But their relationship broke off when Rosa came to know about his previous marriage and children. Khan started dating fellow actress Kareena Kapoor from October 2007. They got married in 2012.
