Fifty-six year old Peter Andrew Buffett is the youngest son of billionaire Warren Buffett. That notwithstanding, he is an accomplished musician with an Emmy Award to his name. Furthermore, he is also the critically acclaimed author of the bestseller Life Is What You Make It: Find Your Own Path to Fulfillment in addition to writing pieces for the Huffington Post.
Peter is truly a man who has found his own path having steered clear of his father’s business and gone the musical way. As such, upon receiving his inheritance of about $90,000, Peter dropped out of Stanford University, packed his bags and moved to San Francisco. While there, he lived a very ordinary life and used his inheritance to further his musical career. Soon he landed a job doing commercials for MTV and even CNN; his music career had taken off and an Emmy came his way in 1999.
All the same, music is not Peter’s only passion; he is also a devout philanthropist.
