Anthony Nomar Garciaparra is a retired American professional baseball player with a net worth of $45 million. Nomar was born in Whittier, California in 1973. He was drafted by Milwaukee Brewers in the year 1991 but did not sign any contract with the team. In 1994, Nomar went to Georgia Tech where he assisted his team in the College World Series championship game.
While in College, he was named a first team All-American two times. Nomar was selected for a second time in 1994 draft by Boston Red Sox in the first round. For 3 seasons he played in the minors before he debuted in the majors in the year 1996. Nomar Garciaparra is married to Mia Hamm, who is a soccer star and they have a set of twin girls.
