Actually, it is not a word, they are words; Nelson Mandela. The former South African President and 1993 Nobel Peace Prize laureate had been famous for much of his life having been a very vocal anti-apartheid activist in his homeland. However, it was his demise on 5th December, 2013 that made his name the most googled phrase on the planet. Mandela will be remembered for his relentless fight to ensure equality among all, one’s color notwithstanding. For this cause he spent 27 years of his life imprisoned on the infamous Robben Island. Later, after serving one term as President, he dedicated his time to philanthropy.
