In The World

The most expensive Rolex watch in  the world is the 1942 Rolex Chronograph. The last time it went to an auction, the watch fetch a price of $1.16 Million. The Rolex has 17 jewels, pink gold Arabic and baton numerals. It has a blue telemeter, two subsidiary dials for constant seconds, a split second chronograph mechanism, a 30-minute register and it also has outer minute divisions. With a nickel finish and lever movement plus silver matte dials, this watch is certainly a masterpiece. You probably won't be able to get your hands on one of them easily as there are only 12 pieces of this watch that were made by Rolex. These watches were originally made as gifts to team owners and famous race drivers in the 1940s
