Most Expensive Restaurant
In Toronto

This has to be the famous Kaiseki Yu-zen Hashimoto owned and ran by Masaki Hashimoto and his family. A meal at this Kaiseki restaurant will set you back anything from $200 to $300. All the same, the restaurant promises you an extra-ordinary Kaiseki meal prepared for you by Masaki alone and served by members of his family. What’s more, the meals are accompanied by an optional serene tea ceremony and you’ll have to reserve a table 7 days in advance to allow for some of the ingredients to be specially ordered from Japan. It’s really easy to see why this is a reservations-only restaurant.
