The Most Expensive Guitar In The World, $2.7 Million!
Well, if you thought that the most expensive guitar in the world is a limited edition guitar or that it once belonged to a legend, then you are wrong. For once, I think the price of this "overpriced" guitar is well worth it. Called by the name of "Reach out to Asia Fender Stratocaster", this guitar was sold in 2005 in an auction in Qatar to raise funds for the Tsunami victims in Asia. The value is not in the guitar itself but in the number of signatures of legends which include Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Mick Jagger, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi, Angus Young, Sting, Ritchie Blackmore, Malcolm Young, Bryan Adams, Liam Gallagher, Paul McCartney and members of Def Leppard. We must praise the efforts of these guitarists and the person who bought this. It's certainly worth $2.7 Million when you can save millions of lives.
