With the usage of smartphones and ipads on the rise, developers have come out with all sorts of apps. Many are free but some will charge you for extra features. The usual price of $0.99 to $19.99 is expected. However, these 5 apps costs a bomb and one wonders whether they are overpriced or not. How much do they cost? Well each of them costs $999.99

1. BarMax CA $999.99

This app was developed by a team of Harvard lawyers to help students prepare for the California Bar exam.

2. The Alchemist SMS $999.99

This app is not about texting but actually is a tool to help steel and scrap metal workers to reduce their raw materials costs.

3. Agro $999.99

Agro is an app for Agronomists to help them manage their work properly. Agronomists are involved in producing food, managing environmental impact of agriculture and creating healthier food.

4. VIP Black $999.99

VIP Black allow users to get luxury treatment from the company's luxury partners. The user has to prove they are worth above $1 Million to use this app.

5. Alpha-Trader $999.99

Alpha-Trader is an app that provides trading suite for professional traders. It gives out real time data of stock prices and charts.

We've checked that there were a few other silly apps that costs $999.99 out there. I guess there will be more soon and don't be surprised if some smart developer starts charging $1999.99 for their next state of the art app.
