Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber is the founder, chairman and CEO of MBI international and Partners Group. He ventured into the field of business in 1982 and within a short span of time established himself as a successful businessman. Today he runs several businesses in the Middle East and Europe, including real estate, oil and gas, finance, hospitality and food industries.
Al Jabber is in his fifties and resides in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and with an asset value of more than $7 Billion he has made it on the list of Forbes, the world’s richest billionaires as of march 2013. Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber embarked upon his philanthropic journey with the establishment of his first Charitable Trust in 1990s followed by MBI Al Jabier Foundation.
A staunch supporter of education and the issues close to his heart, he strongly believes that education plays an important role in achieving success in any field and that it enables people to have better control of their destiny. His philanthropic activities primarily focus on three key areas, namely, education, good governance and cultural dialogue. He is the winner of several awards including ISESCO Gold Medal, Nominated Trialog Institute “Person of the Year” and UNESCO Medal on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the organization.
