He has won Emmys and the Golden Globe for his work. In addition to this recognition, Mick Jagger was recognized for his musical contribution when Queen Elizabeth knighted him. Mick Jagger currently has a net worth that is estimated to be at $329 million. 

Early on in his career, Jagger formed the Rolling Stones with Keith Richards. Richards served as the guitarist while Jagger was the lead vocalist. Due to his drug use and frequent romantic entanglements, Jagger became a leader in the counterculture movement of the 1960s. By the late 1960s, Mick Jagger started to work in films like Ned Kelly as an actor. In 1985, he released the solo album, She's the Boss. 

As a child, Mick Jagger grew up in Kent, England. He was the oldest of two sons and was raised in a middle class family. From an early age, Jagger loved to sing and would perform with the church choir. Although he did well in school and briefly went to the London School of Economics, his true passion was music.

Initially, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger started playing music in basement clubs. Before long, they signed Andrew Loog Oldham as their manager and started to perform under the name of the Rolling Stones. As his career took off, Jagger left the London School of Economics. They went on tour in the United Kingdom and became one of Britain's most popular music groups by 1963.

After releasing a string of successful records, the band became legendary. In his personal life, Jagger has been married twice and has had seven different children. Due to his role in Britain's music, Mick Jagger was knighted in 2003.
