Max Turnauer is an Austrian billionaire and the son of renowned businessman Herbert Turnauer, who established Constantia Industries in the 1969 in Vienna. Constantia owns 4 companies, among them being FunderMax, a company that specializes in producing timber products as well as decorative laminates. Isosport is another company that is owned by Constantia, and it specializes in making plastic composite materials for snowboard and ski industries.

This company provides the backing for solar modules, and it was scheduled to go public in the year 2011. However, it failed to do so as a result of lack of investor interest. In the year 2011, Constantia’s revenues were over 868 million Euros ($1.1 billion). The company previously traded on the Vienna exchange market, but was taken private in the year 2004. Max Turnauer acts as the ambassador of the Order of Malta in Liechtenstein and is no longer involved in the running of Constantia.
His son, Stanislaus Turnauer, acts as the Chief Executive Officer of Constantia Industry. Max Turnauer premiered on the Forbes billionaire list in 2013.
