Hard-hitting and a phenomenal fighter, Manny Pacquiao is famous for his boxing exploits. He was originally born in the Philippines and has a fight record of 54 wins in 61 matches. Two of the additional matches resulted in a draw. In recent years, his only major loss was in 2012 to Timothy Bradley. Following this fight, there were allegations about if the match was fixed. In other fights, Pacquiao has fared better. 

He has managed to win titles in seven weight classes and is the only boxer to successfully carry this out. Some of his famed opponents include Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez and Miquel Cotto. By 2013, Manny Pacquaio was considered the top boxer in the world. His status as the world's best boxer enabled him to earn a net worth of $100 million from boxing purses, revenue sharing and endorsements.

During his career, Manny Pacquiao has managed to win multiple million dollar purses. In 2006, he earned a $2 million purse versus Erick Morales, a $1 million purse versus Oscar Larios and $3 million in another fight against Erik Morales. By 2008, he won a $36 million fight versus Miguel Cotto. This was followed by another $35 million purse in a match with Antonio Margarito. 

In the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao is revered for his boxing prowess. He has appeared in numerous movies and produced several on his own. Additionally, Pacquiao created a music album that managed to sell more than two million copies. Presently, Pacquiao has dropped from the world's best boxer to second best due to the rise of Floyd Mayweather.

Despite his lower ranking, Pacquiao still manages to be the second-highest paid athlete in the entire world. Pacquiao is married to Maria Geraldine Jamora and they have four children together. Although he has managed to earn an impressive sum of money, Manny Pacquiao still lives in his hometown of General Santos City.
