Lawrence Ho is the eldest son of Stanley Ho, a Hong-Kong and Macau-based businessman and billionaire. Lawrence serves as the Chairman and CEO of Melco International Development Limited, as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of Melco Crown Entertainment Limited. Forbes has listed Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd as one of Asia’s “Fabulous 50” Companies. Today, Ho is one of the wealthiest people in the world with an estimated net worth of $1.26 billion.

Ho is also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. He also serves on various committees and boards of companies, which are privately owned in mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong. Finance Asia has in the past named him “Best CEO in Hong Kong”. In 2011, Corporate Governance Asia Magazine named him “Asia’s Best CEO. Ho was also chosen as one the “10 Outstanding Young Persons” in 2006.
Ho graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto in 1999. He also acquired the Honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Edinburgh Napier University Scotland on July 2009.
