Lawrence “Larry” Tanenbaum is a Canadian businessman and self-made billionaire who has a net worth of $1.17 Billion. He serves as the Chairman of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE). He owns a 25 per cent stake in MLSE through Kilmer Sports Inc., which is his holding company. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited from the year 1968 to 2006.

Under his leadership, the company grew into a multi-faceted construction corporation with operating subsidiaries and divisions covering pipe manufacturing, trucking, heavy construction, aggregates, ready-mix-concrete, road building and paving.
