Born Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leito to parents Bosco Izecson Pereira and Simone dos Santos, Ricardo Kaka or Kaka, for short, is a Brazilian midfielder who currently plays for Italian football club Milan.
His financially stable childhood allowed him to focus on both football and school. He was discovered by Sao Paulo FC, who offered him an assignment at the age of eight. His impressive performance soon caught the eye of European clubs and he was eventually signed by AC Milan in 2003.
His success in AC Milan led Spanish club Real Madrid to offer him a contract, and he made his unofficial debut for the club in 2009. It was while in Real Madrid that Kaka became the top Brazilian goal scorer in Champions League history. He later expressed his wish to leave the club. He went back to Milan in 2013.
