After graduating, July Bowen began honing her craft by studying at the institutes like the Shakespeare and Company, Will Gear’s Theatricum and Actor’s Institute, and started to chase after a profession in television, where she landed roles in television commercials and eventually winning a supporting role on the daytime drama Loving. She went on to act on various television shows and movie roles. The actress is best known for playing Carol Vesey on Ed (2000-2004), Denise Bauer on Boston Legal (2005-2007), Sarah Shephard on Lost (2005-2007), and Claire Dunphy on Modern Family (2009-present). She has won two luxurious Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in Modern Family.
