Jerry Seinfeld has a net worth of $800 million. He is best remembered for his association with the hit comedy series Seinfeld. He co-created, co-wrote and served as a co-executive producer in Seinfeld. The legacy Seinfeld left behind need not be told. The show became the most popular sitcom in America by its fourth season and retained its position till its last episode. 

Seinfeld was brought in this world by Kalman Seinfeld and Betty. His father worked as a sign maker whereas his mother catered to the needs of young Jerry. The actor learned his basic education at East Lake Elementary School and Massapequa High School. Seinfeld obtained his degree in communications and theatre from the esteemed Queens College, University of New York.

It was his time in college which helped him develop an interest towards standup comedy. Soon after graduating, the actor immediately tried his hand at open-mics all around the city. Before starring in his hit show Seinfeld, the actor had to make do with small roles, most notably on the sitcom Benson.

His stint on the show didn’t last long as he was fired without notice for sporting creative differences with the writers. After that, he made some impressive appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jonny Carson and Late Night With David Letterman which firmly placed him in the minds of important watchful eyes. 

The actor is considered a specialist at observational humor and was ranked by Comedy Central in 2005 as the 12th greatest comedian of all time. He has stated to be greatly influenced by the likes of Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Jean Shepherd. The comedian has also been inspirational to the likes of Judd Apatow and Kevin Hart.  

Besides acting, Seinfeld has also written a book titled Seinlanguage which was released in 1993. The actor is currently married to Jessica Sklar. The couple tied the knot on December 25, 1999. They raise their children, one daughter and two sons, in their mansion in Long Island.
