Apparently there are no documentation of this actor's net worth. But before his death, his agent negotiated a 9 film contract over 6 years with Warner Bros that was worth $900,000. However, this wealth did not materialize. At his death, his father inherited his estate which was worth $96,438.44. The majority of this came from his life insurance policy along with  $6,750 in insurance claims for his car. He only had $3,256.48 in his bank account.

The American Film Institute took notice of his wonderful performances and rightly honored him by ranking him the 18th best movie star on their top 100 Stars list in 1999.
