Billionaire Widow of Tchibo Owner
Ingeburg Herz, the widow of Tchibo owner Max Herz, has an estimated net worth of $2.4 billion. She has acquired much of her net worth when she and her two sons inherited Tchibo after the death of her husband.
Tchibo was founded in 1965 by Max and is now considered as the maker of the best known coffee brand in Germany. They also have 50% stakes in the reputed skincare company, Beiersdorf AG which produces the Nivea brand.
In 2003 Ingeburg came into the news as she helped to end a family feud by giving support to a buyout of interests which was held by her son, Gunter and daughter, Daniela. They received a total amount of $5 billion. Ingeburg Herz now lives in Hamburg.
