Howard Graham Buffett is the eldest child of multi-billionaire Warren Buffett. An established businessman in his own right, Howard runs several large farms including three that are affiliated to his foundation. This is in addition to being a writer, photographer and philanthropist. Consequently, he is valued at $200 million.
In spite of the fact that Howard belongs to one of the wealthiest families in the world, he has managed to forge his own path in life. As such, instead of sitting around waiting for daddy’s money, Howard has ventured into various fields including politics. What’s more, he has also served on the boards of several companies including Archer Daniels Midland. In fact, he is currently a director of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., the Coca Cola Company and the Lindsay Corporation.
Business aside, Howard is a true philanthropist and conservationist. Through the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, he seeks to maintain global biodiversity. As a result, his foundation has contributed towards the conservation of mountain gorillas and cheetahs. Moreover, this multi-talented man has written several books including bestseller 40 Chances: Finding Hope in a Hungry World.
