Daniel Radcliffe struck gold when he was cast as the title character in the hugely successful Harry Potter film series. He has a net worth of $80 million. The actor made his film debut in The Tailor of Panama and his acting debut in the TV movie David Copperfield in 1999. After his noteworthy performances in those movies, the producers of Harry Potter were quick to snap him up.

Although Daniel managed to ace 3 AS-Level exams, he was not too keen on studies. He knew what he wanted to do, and he knew going to college wasn’t going to help him.

Daniel Radcliffe is certainly someone who didn’t want to be typecast as Harry Potter for the rest of his life. In 2007, he tried his hand at Broadway.  He starred in Equus and in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Some of the other movies he has worked in bar the Harry Potter series are The Woman in Black (2012), Kill Your Darlings (2013). The actor hasn’t hidden the fact that he suffers from developmental coordination disorder which is a form of neurological disorder. He is known to be an atheist who rates Richard Dawkins very highly.

Daniel Radcliffe also has a highly creative side to his personality. The actor penned several poems which were released in November 2007 under the pseudonym “Jacob Gershon”. To date, he remains close friends with his Harry Potter co-stars Tom Felton and Emma Watson. Who can blame him for wanting to stay close to Emma Watson?
