Launched in 2012 for iOS devices and 2013 for Android, the game has grown in leaps and bounds to generate income close to $700,000 per day. Majority of the income comes from the sale of add-on content, booster packs etc. The game was developed by Finnish based company Supercell. It is a strategy- based game which permits players to build their community, train troops and attack other players for gold and elixir. The game has gone on to find massive success commercially. They were allegedly earning close to $2.4 million per day during their heyday. It has been in the top 5 charts since December 2012. They announced their revenues to be in the region of $900 million for 2013.
