How Much Money Do I Need
To Retire At 60
Now, 60 is not a bad age to retire because ideally by the time you reach retirement age you will have accumulated almost enough to sustain you for the rest of your life (depending on your lifestyle of course). Consequently, if you had been saving about 25% of your annual income since the age of 30, then by the time you retire you will have saved about 70% of what you will need for your sustenance. As such, all you’ll need to do is raise the extra 30% which you can do by increasing the amount that you save every year.
