Very recently in 2013, the actress was offered a main role in the series Franklin & Bash. She started off her career as a model while she was still attending the University of California, Los Angeles. Before she could get roles that would catapult her status to stardom, Heather had to make do with small appearances in ChiPs, 240- Robert, Eight is Enough. 

With looks like hers, it’s no surprise knowing that she was truly sought after by some of the biggest names in Hollywood. The actress was in a relationship with actor Scott Baio. Heather was also married to musician Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993.

After the couple separated, Heather was still not done dating musicians. She then struck a chord with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. They married on December 17, 1994. Their marriage resulted in the birth of daughter Ava Elizabeth 1997.

After going some rocky patches in their relationship, the couple decided to call it quits in February 2006. Up until 2011, Locklear was in a relationship with Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner. Although they were engaged and wedding was on the cards, it was not to be a fairytale ending as the engagement was called off in late 2011. 

Before discovering her love for acting in school, Heather was rejected from her High school cheerleading squad. The actress decided to join the Drama club instead and her rejection turned out to be a blessing in disguise.The actress is of English, Scottish and German descent. She is also known to be vocal for her support of Republicans.
