Swedish businessman and politician Gustaf Douglas has an estimated net worth of $4.4 billion. He is the 11th richest person in Sweden and his main source of wealth is AB Latour, an investment company, which he founded in 1984.
AB Latour controls Securitas AB – the world’s largest producer of locks and Assa Abloy & Fagerhult AB, the maker of light fixtures. Gustaf also worked as a consultant at Bohlin & Stromberg from ’64 to ’68 and was appointed CEO of the Daily News Group from 1973 to 1980.
Douglas has an avid interest in the Education policy and he is an esteemed member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. On the personal front, Gustaf earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and was, at one time, on the board of the Moderate Party of Sweden. He is married to a woman of noble descent and has 2 children.
