This would have to be Wells Fargo with an asset base of $1.44 trillion and deposits totaling to $1.01 trillion. Established in 1852, the bank has grown into a household name in the United States having employed more than 264,000 people and serving its clients through a network of more than 9,000 outlets across the US. Wells Fargo provides a wide range of financial services including investments, banking and personal/commercial financing. Notably, it won the Best Bank in Euromoney’s Global Awards for Excellence in 2013. The institution also prides itself in world-class customer service and selfless philanthropic activities.
