Flo Rida (born Tramar Lacel Dillard) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He was born on September 16, 1979 in Carol City, Florida, United States. In 1998, he graduated from high school and joined the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he studied international business management. He joined Barry University and studied for two months, after which he returned to Florida to pursue his music career under the independent label, Poe Boy Entertainment.
