Emily Deschanel is an American actress, film and TV producer. She is famed for her role in the FOX TV series Bones. Born in Los Angeles in 1976, Emily hails from a family that has registered high on the scale of fame. Her mother Mary Jo is an esteemed actress and her father Caleb Deschanel is an Oscar nominated cinematographer.
Emily threw her hat into the acting ring in 1994 with her debut feature film It could happen to you. The role sparked her desire to become a professional actress which saw her enroll in the University of Boston where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre.
She made a comeback to the silver screen in early 2000s where she took on a handful of small roles in several films including It’s a Shame About Ray.
