He is the chairman and CEO of the renowned discount retailer, Lidl, which boasts of $85 billion in revenue. It is one of the biggest discounters in Germany, 2nd only to Aldi. The Lidl operates under the umbrella of the Schwarz Gruppe. It is located in more than 10,000 spots across Europe. Dieter is also the owner of a hypermart by the name of Kaufland.
