Dieter Schnabel is a German entrepreneur with a net worth of $7.2 billion. He acquired much of his wealth through the chemical company, Helm AG. He is actually the owner of this company which, in 2011, earned a total profit of $12.7 billion. The company underwent a huge growth from 1984 to 2004 when it touched total revenue of $3.5 billion. He became the Chairman of the Board in 2012.

Dieter joined Helm AG in 1968 and became an active member of this prestigious company. He was made the CEO of the company in 1984 when his father took retirement. Today Helm AG is one of the world’s leading chemical conglomerates with offices in more than 30 countries. The company is very active in human and animal nutrition, crop protection, chemical fertilizer and pharmaceutical ingredients. In 2012 he resigned from the position of the CEO and became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
