David Rubinstein is considered to be one of the wealthiest people in Maryland. He has an estimated net worth of $3 billion. Rubinstein spends most of his life up in the air. In 2012, he bought what is allegedly the oldest printed work in America from an auction for $14.2 million. This is a book of psalms referred to as the “Bay Psalms Book”. He also owns copies of Declaration of Independence and Emancipation Proclamation, which are also considered to be extremely valuable documents.
Rubinstein was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He currently chairs the board of trustees at his alma mater, the Duke University. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts / Science, from Duke University. The 64-year old self-made billionaire is married with three children.
