Before her pop career, Minogue came into the limelight through an Australian talent hunt show called Young Talent Time. Her debut album gave her an early success with tracks like Love and Kisses, This is It and Baby Love but the second album in line declined her stardom. This led to Minogue releasing award winning hits and she got well known for her acting credits in The Vagina Monologues, as Lady Macbeth and the famous soap opera Home and Away. Minogue is currently working as a judge for The X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent.
Minogue grew up in Melbourne, Australia as the daughter of accountant Ronald Charles Allano Minogue, and Carol Jones, a dancer from Maesteg, Wales. She is youngest of the three sibling. Minogue started acting at a very tender age and became popular amongst the Australian audience. Then she went into singing and made several huge hits like the Neon Lights, which is the best album of her career. In September 1988, Minogue went on to release her own fashion range Dannii. The reason behind this was that while she was on the show Young Time Talent, she became interested in fashion designing. She used to design the apparels that she wore to the show and got a positive response from the audience and she ended up launching her own fashion line. In 1999, Minogue went back to theatre and played several roles and received mixed response from the critics. In 2002, she won the “Best Stage Performance” at the Maxim Awards. One year later, in 2003, she started hosting her own radio show, Dannii Minogue’s Neon Nights which was a great success. The net worth of this celebrity is around $22 million.
