Criss Angel (born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos) is an American magician, illusionist and actor, who has an estimated net worth $30 million. He is renowned for starring in a television show known as “Criss Angel Mindfreak”. The show premiered on July 20, 2005 to 2010 after running 96 episodes. The first and second seasons of the show were filed at The Aladdin in Las Vegas. Season three was filmed at the Luxor Las Vegas. Criss is also the creator of the website, MagicPlace.com.
At the time when Criss was working at the Luxor, he partnered with Cirque Du Soleil to formulate the live performance illusion show known as Criss Angel Believe. After graduating from East Meadow High School, he decided not to attend college as his parents wanted, and opted to pursue a career as a professional magician. During his career a magician and illusionist, Criss has appeared as a special guest on various television shows including WWE RAW, CSI: NY, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Larry King Live and The Oprah Winfrey Show among others. In 2011, he starred in an Orville Redenbacher popcorn commercial.
