Dennis “Chip” Wilson is a Canadian business magnate, who is considered to be one of the richest people in Canada. He is currently listed as the 11th richest person in the country with an estimated net worth of $3.7 billion. He serves as the Chairman of Lululemon, which is a yoga-inspired athletic clothing company. He founded the company in 1998 and he remains the largest individual shareholder and the chairman of the board.

Chip Wilson began his career in 1979 when he established his first retail outerwear company known as Westbeach Snowboard Ltd. The company sold attire targeted at the snowboard, skate and surf markets. He decided to sell the company in 1997, and founded Lululemon Athletica Inc a year later. In the year 2000, he opened the 1st Lululemon store in Vancouver and took it public seven years later. Lululemon currently boasts revenues of $700 million from catalogue sales and 140 stores.
Besides being known for his success in business, Wilson is also renowned for his philanthropic activities. Together with his wife, Shannon Wilson, he founded a charity organization known as imagine1day, which is focused on improving education conditions in Ethiopia. Wilson and Shannon are blessed with five children.
