Charles Sirois is a Canadian entrepreneur and a self-made billionaire. He is the founder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and controlling shareholder of Telesystem Ltd, which is a private equity company. Together with Francois Legault, they founded Coalition Avenir Quebec, which is a social liberal and economic Centre-right political party. Today, Sirois is one of the wealthiest people in Canada with an estimated net worth of $1.11 billion.

From 1988 to 1990, he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BCE Mobile Communications. He also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Teleglobe, which is the top provider of international long distance and broadband services. He was also the Chairman of Telesystem International Wireless. He also founded and served as chairman of Microcell Telecommunications, which is a GSM cellular provider that is renowned for its Fido brand name.
Sirois currently serves as the Director of Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Cossette Communication Group. He is also a co-founder of Enablis and has served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman from its inception. At the beginning of 2009, he became the Chairman of CIBC. In the year 1994, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada. Four years later, he was made a knight of the National Order of Quebec.
