Boris Rotenberg, Russian Billionaire

Boris Rotenberg is a Russian billionaire and the younger brother of Arkady Rotenberg, who is also a billionaire. He has an estimated net worth of $1.7 Billion. The two brothers are co-owners of SMP Bank and SGM Group, which is a major supplier of construction services to Gazprom (Russian gas giant). Boris serves as the Vice-President of the Russian Judo Federation. He holds dual citizenship in Finland and Russia.

In 2013, Boris Rotenberg assumed the position of President of FC Dynamo Moscow. He also sponsors SMP Racing Project that is dedicated in offering support to young Russian drivers.  Even though the Rotenbergs deny it all the time, their success is often related to their close ties with Vladimir Putin, the current president of Russia. They have been friends with Putin since they were children, and they used to be sparring partners back in the days.

According to Forbes, Boris Rotenberg has an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion, which ranks him as the 59th richest person in Russia. The 57-year old billionaire is divorced with two children, Roman and Boris. Roman serves as the Head of marketing at SKA St. Petersburg Ice hockey club, whereas his brother Boris is a soccer player for Cyprus Club Olympiacos Nicosia. Boris Rotenberg currently resides in St. Petersburg, Russia.
